Exhibition "Journey of grandma's frame bag"

Opening of the exhibition "Journey of grandma's frame bag' took place in the Kaliningrad Amber Museum, it presents accessories of woman and man toilet of the late 19th - early 20th centuries from the collection of Marina Sedova (Saint Petersburg).

Exosition shows items that were used by ladies and gentlemen of the past epoch. Some of these things have already lost their topicality and are out of use as lorgnettes and monocles. Every such thing can tell to an attentive viewer a lot about habits, social status and even strains of its owner, as well as about fashion trends of that time.

Guests of the vernissage got to know about the demonstrated items first hand - straight from the owner of the collection, headdress designer Marina Sedova.
