Music night “The Comeback”

On 24 May in the Amber Museum there will be a presentation of the new Programme “The Comeback” by the male chamber choir “IMAGE” supervised by the creative director Aleksandr Chainovskii.

The title of the Programme is connected with the revival of the genre of male choirs singing in Kaliningrad. Chants by male voices is related to the history of choir art in Russ. Since the ancient times it is an important part of church services. In the secular music culture it was also popular – male voices sounded at festivities performing many-voiced choir songs: plangent folk, dance, military ones...

The group resumes the active concert and creative work with a new team. On the programme there will be religious music p national songs, legends, romantic songs.

Soloists are the Honoured Artist of Russia Nikolai Gorlovka (baritone), Mikhail Lishaev (tenor), Fiodor Shirko (baritone), dance accompaniment - Sergei Chernykh.
