"Igor Brasiunas: Master and Innovator in the Amber Art"
Igor Brasiunas was one of the best masters of amber art of the post-Soviet time, vituoso carver, organiser and leader of the first informal amber association in our region "Romantic Project".
For the first time, 90 works of the artist are presented on the one stage – from collections of the Kaliningrad Amber Museum, Museum of the World Ocean, and Kaliningrad Museum of Fine Arts, as well as from private collections including one of his sister Olgerta Kharitonova and the artist's widow Marina Mavropulo who was of great assistance in the organisation of the exhibition. Creations by Igor Brasiunas bring joy due to the perfection of their form and delight with the multiplicity of their meanings.
Virtual opening of the exhibition will be held in the museum social networks accounts.
