Was born on 17th of June 1953 in Kaliningrad. In 1982 he graduated from Leningrad Technical College of Physical Culture and Sport with the qualification of Physical Education instructor.

Amber is a most fascinating material – a handsome stone. It is more interesting than brilliant. Amber is so powerful in itself that attempts to decorate it actually add nothing. You ‘dissect’ the stone and there is everything in it, and then your suffering begins when you try not to destroy its beauty. If you don’t admire the stone unselfishly, it is easy to ‘kill’ it. I believe that in composition there should be a minimum of other materials – just to preserve the amber from scratches, and to adapt it for wearing.
